The cigarette is the deadliest object in the history of human civilisation. Cigarettes kill about 6 million people every year, a number that will grow before it shrinks. Smoking in the twentieth century killed only 100 million people, whereas a billion could perish in our century unless we reverse course.America alone has 46.2 million adults smoking cigarettes. These 46.2 million people can be affected by many health issues such as cancer being the leader cause of cancer. It causes cancers of the lung, esophagus, larynx (voice box), mouth, throat, kidney, bladder, pancreas, stomach, and cervix.
Marijuana is a cannabis plant that contains over 400 chemicals.. Some states began to illegalize marijuana by 1915 and by 1937 marijuana was illegal in every state with the marijuana tax act. Many people believe that marijuana should become legal again but I do not see the good that legalizing marijuana would bring.
